Choose Life

There are many reasons why the adversary does not want you to succeed, but we won’t go into that. Let’s focus on the fact that you can do all things through the Messiah, Who strengthens you. (Philp 4:13) The devil is not stupid. He knows how to employ tactics to slow us down or to cause a complete shutdown. Here’s the thing. Those weapons cannot and will not work if we stay aware and out of agreement with him.

We all procrastinate because we do not feel like doing something and think we can do it some other time. We do not consider what wasted time will cost us. Procrastination is the enemy of success. Fear, comparison, and complacency are other tactics used. Complacency is a silent killer of dreams. There we are amid our satisfaction while danger is lurking. We are completely unaware. Spiritual blindness and other tricks and traps are used like loops because they work.

When do we grow up? When do we decide that enough is enough? We have been given all things pertaining to life and Godliness. We have been given authority, and God loads us up with benefits daily. The scriptural proof is here for us to walk out. This is done by choice.

Choice is a very powerful thing. It determines where we are and where we end up in life. We cannot complain if we are unhappy about something when it is in our power to change it. Don’t allow the enemy of your soul to dictate what your life shall be. God has spoken, and He is watching. He has put before us blessings and curses, life and death. He tells us to choose and to choose wisely. The beautiful thing about that is that this is an open-book test. He gives the answer and says, “Choose life.” Devarim (Deut) 30:19
